"We have been Dowco clients since moving to Missouri in 1997. Over the 17+ years, Dowco has worked with us on annual lawn cutting and care. As with all lawns, we have been challenged over the years with grubs, fungus and nutsedge. Dowco monitors these challenges and always ensures the right care at the right time. Dowco’s irrigation service is fantastic. We have expanded the irrigation system over time in many areas and Dowco’s inspection process always ensures we maximize the efficiencies of the system. Dowco’s fall service for leaves is invaluable for a property mostly covered with trees. Additionally, Dowco’s price points are very favorable and attractive.

While we enjoy landscaping and working in our yard, we leave the lawn care, irrigation and leave clean-up to the professionals at Dowco. Their top line equipment, capabilities and skills go far beyond that of ours and are always on the mark.

After a harsh 2013/2014 winter into spring season, our entire landscaped areas were full of debris, weeds, dead and diseased shrubs and trees. Additionally, all mulched areas were eroded and the definition of the landscaped beds were gone. Kelly Dowell completed a thorough walk-through of our property and spent quality time in understanding our needs and wishes to rejuvenate all affected areas. Through insightful discussion, Kelly offered advice and suggestions to further enhance the work to be performed while being budget conscience.

Dowco’s proposal was presented the next day. The professional proposal was itemized by work to be performed, each with a detailed scope. The itemized pricing by section was very helpful in understanding the level of effort and respective costs. Kelly captured all detail and requirements as based on the walk-through and her evaluation. Dowco’s thorough understanding of the project requirements, articulation on how to meet the requirements within the requested time frame and very competitive price points won Dowco the business. Amongst a total of 4 bids, no other proposal came close to the quality of the document presented by Dowco!

Scheduling the project went flawlessly and completed in two days! Pepe was the crew lead and followed the statement of work perfectly. Since there was so much to be done and many detailed areas, Pepe was very communicative and ensured that any points for clarification were asked of us. Pepe also made great suggestions and artistically revived all areas. We thought that many areas really needed magic to bring them back to life. Pepe and his crew worked that magic! When the mulch was completed, our once over grown and dilapidated landscape had a new life to it. We even had visits from neighboring landscape companies who complemented on the great job and creative strengths of Dowco.

Collaborating with Dowco is one of our favorite parts of their service. Working with the main office team, such as Caitlin, Jane and Kelly in scheduling appointments and discussing needs is always efficient with a positive result. The different crews who perform different services such as Pepe for lawn and landscaping needs and David for our irrigation services is always a delight with a confidence of quality work in a very timely manner.
